Is the COLOUR it brings,
In wondrous bounty of hues and tones.

Is the GROWTH it brings,
A marvelous explosion of scent and forms.
The thing with Spring
Is the RELEASE it brings,
From the harsh grasp of Winter's cold.
The thing with Spring
Is the DELIGHT it brings,
To sensitive hearts, both young and old.
